Stand up gas scooters differ from sit down scooters. The main difference is speed. Stand up scooters don't have as powerful a motor than sit down scooters. This may be seen as a disadvantage or an advantage, depending on the rider and the distance that is needed to travel. For children this may be a great advantage as the scooters will not be able to go as fast as there larger cousins. The top speed is generally limited to somewhere between 15 and 45 mph.
